On Friday 26th April, it was the turn of Pablo Guerra Martín to inform us on his research work to date.

Abel San Romualdo Collado was the second of two PhD presenters on 10th May and he explained his study on "Characterization of sand sheets and nebkhas fields in the Canary Islands". More can be read about his research.

Last Friday 10th May 2019, the seminar program continued with the following presentation:"Organic complexation of Fe and Cu in marine environments" was the subject of Veronica Arnone's talk. More details about her research can be read .

Continuing with the Seminar program, the latest thesis presentation was given last Friday, 1st March, by Airam Sarmiento Lezcano. He explained the research he had carried out to date on ""Vertical distribution and ETS activity of Cyclothone species in the meso- and bathypelagic zones of the North Atlantic Ocean". When the Taliarte seminars resumed on 12th April 2019, Alba González Vega was the second of the two thesis presenters and explained her research on "Impact of the hydrothermal emissions of the shallow submarine volcano Tagoro (El Hierro, Canary Islands, Spain) on the physical-chemical and biological properties of the local marine environment” Further details on the content of her talk can be accessed via our Doycag website.

Yesterday 15th February, it was the turn of Nerea Marrero Betancort to give her research presentations in front of an ample group of fellow Ph.D. students, teaching staff and other students at different levels in oceanographic studies. Today, 1st February, two new presentations were given in the Taliarte campus as part of the 2019 IOCAG Seminar program for Ph.D. students.
